Q. Once I sign up for Russian lessons, am I obligated to take more than one lesson from you? Can I drop out at anytime?
A. You may do as little or as much as you want, the decision is yours.
Q. I’m under 18; do I need parental permission to take these classes?
A. Yes, for legal reasons I do need parental permission before we can proceed.
Q. I’m 18 but I’m still in high school, do I still need permission?
A. Yes, if you are still in high school, I still will need parental permission.
Q. Where should we meet? Can you come to my place?
A. The lessons are held in a public place such as a library, community center, bookstore, coffee shop, etc…..
Q. I studied some Russian in college and feel as if I know the basics, where should I start?
A. I will start wherever you feel like starting. Whether it be starting from scratch or beginning where you left off in Russian class, I can help.
Q. What is your teaching philosophy?
A. I believe in an interactive teaching model between the student and teacher where knowledge is not static. I believe that students learn best when they are allowed to discover for themselves the answers.
Q. What days are you available? Are you flexible?
A. I am normally available seven days a week in the evenings and most of the day on weekends. I am willing to work with whatever schedule you have to help you learn Russian.
